Boardman Rotary is no longer sponsoring just one blood-drive a year, which usually took place in May.  This year the Red Cross has enough staff to man them but we still want Boardman Rotarians to participate - all it takes is about an hour and a half of your time.  Below is a flyer of blood drive donations sites for the month of August.  If you'd like to schedule an appointment, you can call 1-800-Give-Blood.  Donating blood at one of these sites will also be considered a makeup meeting.

 

REMINDER: After next week's meeting, August 6th, there will be a Rotary Foundation meeting.

Youth Orientation for the 2019-2020 exchange students program took place this past weekend, August 17th and 18th, at Camp Stambaugh! It was a great weekend full of fun, food and getting to know each other.  Congratulations to Howard Mettee's BLUE TEAM who took first place! And thank you to everyone who volunteered this year!

A sign up sheet will begin circulating at weekly meetings for newsletter help. If you like receiving the newsletter every week and would like to keep it going, we want you to help us produce it! See Kati Hartwig if you’re able to be the designated newsletter curator for a month (on average, 4 meetings) over the next year. Thank you to those that have already signed up! October 2019, and January, March, April, May and June of 2020 are all still available.
