The proposed club budget was distributed and discussed for approval. Motion passed.

 

Each year, Rotary International comes up with a theme to ignite inspiration amongst Rotarians across the world. Last year we were all about "Being the Inspiration." For 2019-2020, we are looking ahead at "Rotary Connects the World." We look forward to connecting and sharing our mission with our community, and the world around us.

 

Ron also spoke about taking action with more hands-on projects locally. There are several organizations he would like to work with in the area.

There will be an Oktoberfestival meeting immediately following next week's regular Rotary meeting (7/16). 

There will be a Boys & Girls Club Backyard BBQ to celebrate the Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown. The BBQ Bash will have live music, food, cash bar, and tons of backyard games including corn hole, can jam and more. Tickets are $25 and available to purchase. A sign up sheet will begin circulating at weekly meetings for newsletter help. If you like receiving the newsletter every week and would like to keep it going, we want you to help us produce it! See Kati Hartwig if you’re able to be the designated newsletter curator for a month (on average, 4 meetings) over the next year. Thank you to those that have already signed up! October 2019, and January, March, April, May and June of 2020 are all still available.
