Thanks to Mike Chadsey of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association for sharing his time with the Rotary Club of Boardman on Tuesday. Mike gave an overview of well design, the formation of oil and gas in the grounds of Ohio, and the impact that the oil and gas industry has made in Ohio in the past few years. A few quick facts shared include the fast that Ohio's Utica production is up over 200 percent in the last two years, there is over $28 billion investd nto Ohio by the oil and gas industry, and there are 2047 wells permitted in Ohio with only 1022 producing currently.
