Molly Burdette, Bachelor of General Studies

Thanks to Molly Burdette for speaking about the General Studies Program at Youngstown State University. This program, approved by the Board of Regents in 2005, provides current and former students the opportunity to complete their college degrees. Since its inception there have been over 1,300 students that have graduated.

Pancake Breakfast a Success!

Congratulations to co-chairs Lee Monit and Shawn Golden for their very hard work on the 2015 Pancake Breakfast! It was reported Tuesday that the two-weekend event raised $17,181!

Check Presentation

Boardman Rotary once again is sponsoring Challenger Baseball! A $500 check was presented on Tuesday, April 21, to support the team's efforts.

Approved Measures

Shawn Golden announced that the following measures have been approved by the Board of Directors at their Thursday, April 16, meeting:

$3,000 to go to a Boardman Rotary team at the Boardman Relay for Life
$4,800 for the Boy Scouts to provide 42, one-year memberships

First Readings

Shawn Golden provided the first reading of the following requests for donation:

$1,000 for the Summer Reading Program of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County
$358 for Animal Charities for the medical supply closet
Request from the Youngstown Student Education Association for renovations of a classroom at EJ Blythe School
