Stories Program: Crystal Eckman, Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley Crystal Eckman, community ambassador of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, gave an overview of the shelter to the Boardman Rotary Club on Tuesday, May 3.    The Rescue Mission, the only homeless shelter in the Mahoning Valley, focuses on three areas: providing meals for the hungry, provide emergency shelter for those who need it, and discipleship of and growth in Christ. The funds will go toward scholarships for children whose parents are struggling with financial difficulty or sickness.
