After 65 years of being known by its trademark Lily, Easter Seals is undergoing a brand renaissance.

Cheryl Lloyd and Tim Nelson of the Easters Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties spoke to Boardman Rotary on Tuesday, March 7, about the change and an upcoming event.

Lloyd spoke about the change in services in the organization through the years, which includes the addition of adult services such as transportation, day care and meal services. This is not to say, Lloyd noted, that the organization has turned its back on children with disabilities. Instead, the change in brand reflects the diversity of services offered. Instead of the traditional lily, the logo now reflects a ray of sun that demonstrates the breadth of services offered. It also includes the call to action of "taking on disability together."

Upcoming events:
5k run/walk and Quarter Auction on Saturday, April 15 at Boardman Park
