Mission Statement of the Hope House: To provide a safe, child friendly environment for supervised visitation, custodial/non-custodial exchanges and education relevant to the development of healthy parent-child relationships.

Hope House Visitation Center, Inc. a private, charitable, non-profit agency began in 1996 as a vision of the Junior League of Youngstown to build a safe, neutral, family friendly facility specifically intended for parents to have access to their children, thus encouraging and maintaining a two-parent family for children even though the parents no longer live together.  In June of 1999 the Articles of Incorporation and our Federal Corporate ID number was approved.  The Junior League turned over Hope House to the Board of Directors on March 31, 2000 (mortgage free & handicap accessible), and the first visits began in July of 2000.  In May of 2000, the 501 (c)(3) non-profit status was granted.  Hope House serves families in Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
