Today, we had a two-part program for the club.

The first part of the program was presented by students from MCCTC who are apart of the Business Professionals of America program. They shared information about their conference that they attended in Texas. During their time in Texas, the students participated in several different competitive events that range from finance, management, computer databases, and network administration. The students were thankful for the donation from Boardman Rotary to be able to attend the conference and compete in the conference.

The second portion of our program was from our Interact Club at Boardman High School. Under new leadership at the High School, the club has been combined with the Emerging Leadership Program. Dana Safarek, an English Teacher at BHS has been serving as the advisor for the club. She thanked the club for their support of the students at the High School. She presented that the club has donated their time to United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics of Mahoning County, Veteran's Affairs, Second Harvest Food Bank, Boardman Park, Salvation Army, Boardman United Methodist, Church, Rotary Pancake Festival, and the Memorial Day Parade.

We were then joined by Sofia and Emma, who are Interact members who thanked the club for the ability to attend the RYLA conference. The spent time sharing about their time at the conference and expressed that it was "the best weekend of their lives" and a "life changing experience."
